இஸ்ரேல் – ஈரான் நாடுகளில் சிக்கித்தவிக்கும் தமிழர்களை மீட்க விரைந்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்!

கடும் போர் மூண்டுள்ள ஈரான் மற்றும் இஸ்ரேல் நாடுகளில் பல்வேறு பணிகளுக்காகச் சென்றுள்ள தமிழர்கள் அங்கிருந்து வெளியேற முடியாமல் சிக்கித்தவித்து வருவது மிகுந்த மனவேதனை அளிக்கிறது.

அரசுகளுக்கு இடையே நடக்கும் அதிகாரப் போரில் அதிகம் பாதிக்கப்படுவதும், பலியாவதும் அங்கு வாழும் அப்பாவி மக்கள்தான். ஏற்கனவே பாலஸ்தீனத்தின் காசாவிலும், உக்ரைனிலும் நடைபெறும் போரில் இலட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டும், பல இலட்சம் மக்கள் பசியிலும் வறுமையிலும் உணவுக்காக அலைகின்ற காட்சிகள் நெஞ்சை உலுக்குகின்றது. இந்நிலையில் ஈரான்-இஸ்ரேல் இடையே தற்போது மூண்டுள்ள போரால் மேலும் பல இலட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் பாதிக்கப்படும் துயரமும் நிகழ்ந்தேறுகின்றது.

அதுமட்டுமின்றி, தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து குடும்ப வறுமைச்சூழல் காரணமாகப் பொருளாதாரம் தேடி, இஸ்ரேல், ஈரான் நாடுகளுக்குப்
பணிக்குச் சென்றுள்ள தங்கள் உறவினர் நிலையறியாது அவர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தினர் செய்வதறியாது தவித்து வருகின்றனர். குறிப்பாக ஈரான் நாட்டிற்கு மீன்பிடித் தொழிலுக்குச் சென்ற பல நூறு தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த மீனவர்கள் அங்கிருந்து தாயகம் திரும்ப போதிய பணமின்றி தவித்து வருகின்றனர். இத்தனை பெரிய கடற்பரப்பு இருந்தும் தமிழ்நாட்டு மீனவர்கள் வாழ வழியின்றி கடல்கடந்து அயல்நாடுகளுக்குச் சென்று மீன்பிடித்தொழில் செய்ய வேண்டிய அவலநிலை நிலவுவது வரலாற்றுப்பெருந்துயரம்.
தங்கள் குடும்ப உறவுகளைத் தொடர்புகொள்ள முடியாது கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் மீனவச்சொந்தங்களின் நிலை மிகுந்த பரிதாபகரமானதாகும்.

ஆகவே, ஈரான் இஸ்ரேல் நாடுகளில் சிக்கித்தவிக்கும் தமிழ் மக்களைப் பாதுகாப்பாகத் தாயகம் மீட்டுவந்து அவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினரிடம் ஒப்படைக்க இந்திய ஒன்றிய அரசு உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டுமென வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசும் அயலக அமைச்சகத்தின் மூலமும், இந்திய ஒன்றிய அரசின் தூதரகங்கள் மூலமும் தமிழர்களை மீட்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை விரைவுபடுத்த வேண்டுமெனவும், பயணச்செலவை ஒன்றிய – மாநில அரசுகளே முழுமையாக ஏற்க வேண்டுமெனவும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

Iran-Israel Conflict: Immediate Action Needed to Rescue Tamils Stranded in Israel and Iran!

The ongoing intense conflict between Iran and Israel has left many Tamils, who had traveled to these countries for studies and various work opportunities, stranded and unable to return home. This situation is deeply distressing.

In power struggles between governments, it is always the innocent civilians who suffer the most. As we have already witnessed in the wars in Palestine’s Gaza and in Ukraine, millions have been killed, and many more are wandering in search of food amidst extreme poverty and famine. Now, the war between Iran and Israel is creating fresh tragedies, with countless civilians being affected every day.

Furthermore, due to family poverty, many Tamils from Tamil Nadu have traveled to Israel and Iran in search of better livelihoods. They leave their families back home in great distress, unable to even contact their loved ones. In particular, hundreds of Tamil fishermen who went to Iran for fishing are now stuck there, unable to return home due to lack of sufficient funds. It is a historical tragedy that, despite Tamil Nadu having such a vast coastline, its fishermen are forced to travel overseas to make a living through fishing.

The plight of the fishermen’s families, who are shedding tears unable to communicate with their loved ones, is extremely heartbreaking.

Therefore, I strongly urge the Government of India to take immediate steps to rescue and safely bring back the Tamils stranded in Iran and Israel and reunite them with their families.

I also request the Government of Tamil Nadu, through the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian embassies, to expedite all necessary measures to rescue these Tamils. The travel expenses involved should be fully borne by the Indian Union and state governments.
