நிர்வாணமாக்கப்பட்டது பழங்குடி பெண்கள் அல்ல; பாரதத் தாய் தான்!

பாஜக ஆளும் மாநிலமான மணிப்பூரில் குக்கி பழங்குடி பெண்கள் இருவர் பெரும்பான்மை மெய்தெய் இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களால் ஆடையின்றி சாலையில் இழுத்துச்செல்லப்பட்டு கூட்டு பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை செய்த நிகழ்வு அதிர்ச்சியையும், கடும் ஆத்திரத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.
ஒரு பழங்குடி பெண்ணை இந்தியாவின் குடியரசு தலைவராக ஆக்கிவிட்டதாக பெருமை பேசிய பாஜக இரண்டு பழங்குடி பெண்களுக்கு நிகழ்த்தப்பட்டுள்ள மனச்சான்றற்ற அநீதிக்கு என்ன பதில் கூறப்போகிறது?

கண்முன்னே சக மனிதர்களுக்கு நிகழ்த்தப்படும் சிறிதும் மனித தன்மையற்ற இதுபோன்ற கொடுமைகளை அனுமதித்துவிட்டு, நிலவிற்கு செயற்கோள் அனுப்பியதை அறிவியல் வளர்ச்சி என்று இந்த நாகரீக நாடு கொண்டாடுவது வெட்கக்கேடானது. இதுதான் மோடி கண்டுபிடித்த புதிய இந்தியாவா? இந்தியாவில் மத, சாதி பாகுபாடுகள் இல்லையென்று கூசாமல் பொய் பேசிய பிரதமர் மோடி இப்போது வாய் திறப்பாரா?

மல்யுத்த வீராங்கனைகள் முதல் பழங்குடியின பெண்கள் வரைபாஜக ஆட்சியில் நடைபெறும் பாலியல் கொடுமைகள் உலக அரங்கில் இந்தியாவிற்கு மிகப்பெரிய தலைகுனிவை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. பாரதம், பண்பாடு என்றெல்லாம் பிதற்றும் பாஜக ஆளும் மாநிலத்தில் நிர்வாணமாக்கப்பட்டது பழங்குடி பெண்கள் அல்ல; பாரதத் தாய் தான்!

பழங்குடியின மக்களுக்கு எதிராக தொடர்ந்து கட்டுக்கடங்காத கலவரம் நடைபெற்று வரும் மணிப்பூர் மாநிலத்தில் உடனடியாக குடியரசு தலைவர் ஆட்சியை நடைமுறைப்படுத்த வேண்டும்!

It is tragic that in the state of Manipur, ruled by the BJP, two Kuki Adivasi women were dragged naked on the road and gang-raped by members of the majority Maithei community.

What will the BJP, which takes pride in appointing a tribal woman as the President of India, do to respond to the unsubstantiated injustice meted out to two tribal women?

It is matter of great shame that this civilized country is celebrating moon mission accomplishments while allowing such barbaric atrocities to be committed to fellow human beings in broad daylight. Is this the New India envisioned by Modi? Will PM Modi, who has been lying that there is no religious or caste discrimination in India, at least now open his mouth?

From wrestlers to tribal women, sexual harassment during the BJP rule has brought a huge disgrace to India on the world stage. Was it tribal women who have been stripped naked in the BJP-ruled state, which boasts of Bharat and culture? Or was it Bharat Mata?

It is high time that the President’s rule should be imposed immediately in Manipur, which is witnessing uncontrolled violence against tribal people.
