அசைவ உணவு உண்டதற்காக டெல்லி, ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பல்கலைக்கழக விடுதியில் தாக்குதல் தொடுப்பதா? – சீமான் கண்டனம்

டெல்லி, ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் விடுதியில் அசைவ உணவு அருந்தியதற்காக, மாணவர்கள் மீது அகில பாரதிய வித்யார்தி பரிஷத் அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் கொடும் தாக்குதல் தொடுத்திட்ட செய்தி பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியளிக்கிறது. உணவு எனும் தனிமனித உரிமையில் தலையிட்டு, அதற்காகத் தாக்குதல் தொடுத்திருக்கிற பாஜகவின் மாணவர் அமைப்பான அகில பாரதிய வித்யார்தி பரிஷத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களின் செயல்பாடு கடும் கண்டனத்திற்குரியது.

உணவு, உடை, வழிபாடு போன்றவையெல்லாம் தனிமனித விருப்பங்களைச் சார்ந்தவையாகும். அவற்றை மறுத்து, இடையூறு செய்வதும், அதனைக் காரணமாகக் காட்டி வன்முறைக்கு வித்திடுவதுமான மதவெறிச்செயல்கள் எதன்பொருட்டும் ஏற்புடையதல்ல. இவையாவும் இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச்சாசனம் வழங்கும் அடிப்படை உரிமைகளையே மறுக்கும் மனித உரிமை மீறலாகும். பாஜகவின் ஆட்சியதிகாரம் தொடங்கப்பட்டக் காலத்திலிருந்து, இதுபோன்ற மோதல்களும், தாக்குதல்களும் இந்தியப்பெருநிலம் முழுமைக்கும் அதிகரித்து வருவது நாட்டுக்குத் தலைகுனிவை ஏற்படுத்தும் கீழானச் செயல்களாகும்.

ஆகவே, டெல்லி ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் விடுதியில் அசைவ உணவு உண்டதற்காக தாக்குதல் தொடுத்திட்ட அகில பாரதிய வித்யார்தி பரிஷத் அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் மீது கல்லூரியின் நிர்வாக ரீதியாகவும், சட்டரீதியாகவும் கடும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டுமெனக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

JNU Students Attacked by ABVP Members: Need Stern and Legal Action!

The news of the brutal attack on students by members of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for eating non-vegetarian food at Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Kaveri hostel in Delhi is shocking. The members of the ABVP, the BJP’s student body, who interfered in the matters of the individual right to food and who attacked the students, are highly condemnable.

Food, dress, worship, etc. are all based on personal preferences. Denying or interfering with those preferences and inciting violence to cause sectarianism cannot be tolerated at all. Such acts amount to human rights violations that deny the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution. Since the beginning of the BJP’s rule, such clashes and attacks have been on the rise all over the Indian Union, and these kinds of subversive acts have brought shame to the country.

Therefore, I urge the JNU authorities to take stern and legal action against the members of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad who attacked the hostel students for eating non-vegetarian food.
