உலக மனித உரிமைகள் நாள் 2020 – இணையவழிக் கருத்தரங்கம்
ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையால் அனைத்துலக மனித உரிமைகள் சட்டம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட டிசம்பர் 10ஆம் நாள் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலக மனித உரிமைகள் நாளாக கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு தனி மனிதனும் தான் வாழ்வதற்கான உரிமையை பெறுவதும், சகமனிதர் வாழ்வதற்கான உரிமையை மதித்து நடப்பதுமே இந்நாளின் முக்கிய குறிக்கோளாகும்.
இன்றைய சூழ்நிலையில் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும், உலகமெங்கும் தனிமனித அடிப்படை உரிமைகள், அரசு மற்றும் ஆதிக்க மனப்பான்மைகொண்ட சக மனிதர்களாலேயே பறிக்கப்படுகிறது, நசுக்கப்படுகிறது. குறிப்பாக சாதி, மதம், நிறம், பாலினம், வர்க்கம், மொழி இன்னும் பிறவற்றின் பெயரால் தனி மனிதர்கள் மட்டுமின்றி மனித சமூகத்தின் அங்கங்களாக உள்ள அரசியல் கட்சிகள், மனித உரிமை அமைப்புகள், சனநாயக இயக்கங்கள் உள்ளிட்டவற்றின் கேள்வி கேட்கும் உரிமை, போராடும் உரிமை, தவறுகளைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டும் உரிமை கூட மறுக்கப்படுவதுடன், அப்படி உரிமைக்காகப் போராடுபவர்கள் மீது ஆட்சி, அதிகாரத்தைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொடுந்தாக்குதல்களும், உளவியல் மிரட்டல்களும் தொடுக்கப்படுகிறது. தனி மனிதர்கள் உடுத்தும் உடை, உண்ணும் உணவு முதல் எதைப் பேசவேண்டும், எதை எழுத வேண்டும், யாரை ஆதரிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதுவரை ஒருசில உயர் அதிகாரக்குழுக்கள் தீர்மானிப்பதும், அதை அடுத்தவர் மீது திணிப்பதும் தனி மனித உரிமை மீறலின் உச்சமாகும். மேலும் பெண்கள் மீதும், குழந்தைகள் மீதும் நாளுக்கு நாள் அதிகரித்து வரும் பாலியல் அச்சுறுத்தல்களும், தாக்குதல்களும், அதற்குச் சொல்லப்படுகின்ற ஆணாதிக்கச் சிந்தனையுடனான காரணங்களும் இந்த நாட்டில் நிலவுகின்ற மற்றுமொரு மனித உரிமை மீறல் தொடர்புடைய சாபக்கேடாகும்.
இந்நிலையில் மனித உரிமை நாளைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பதுடன் மட்டும் கடந்து போகாமல், உலகம் முழுவதும் நடக்கும் மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் குறித்தும் அவற்றுக்கான தீர்வுகள் குறித்தும் தனிமனித உரிமைகளை ஆதரித்துக் குரல் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய பல்வேறு ஆளுமைகள் பங்கேற்கும் கருத்தரங்கம் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி சார்பில் 12-12-2020 அன்று மாலை சரியாக 5 மணிக்கு தொடங்கி இணையம் வாயிலாக நடைபெறவுள்ளது. நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் தலைமை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் செந்தமிழன் சீமான் அவர்களும் பங்கேற்று கருத்துரையாற்றுகிறார். ஆகவே தாய்த்தமிழ் உறவுகள் பெருமளவில் இக்கருத்தரங்கில் பங்கேற்பதன் மூலம் மனித உரிமைகளைக் காப்பதற்கான நம்முடைய உறுதியையும், ஆதரவையும் தெரிவித்திட பேரன்புடன் அழைக்கிறோம்.

World Human Rights Day 2020
World Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10. The United Nations asserted the International Convention on Human Rights each year to create a dialogue and bring functional solutions to curb Human Rights violations across the world. This day’s main intent is to establish the fact that every individual is entitled to the right to life and upholding the value of life and that our fellow human beings are also entitled to live in this world.
Basic human rights of individuals living in communities across the earth are being snatched away and suppressed by the state and its key players of bureaucracy. In the name of caste, religion, color, gender, class, language, etc., not only individuals but also political parties, human rights organizations, and democratic movements, that are part of the society are denied the right to question, the right to fight, and even the right to point out wrong-doings, and to rule over those who fight for such rights. The use of power propels systematic harassment and psychological intimidation. From dictating the basic rights like dress and grooming of individuals to what to talk about, what to write, and whom to support, it is the culmination of individual human rights that a few high-ranking authorities decide and impose on others. The increasing number of sexual threats and attacks on women and children and the alleged patriarchal and inbuilt misogyny that has been communally normalized are reasons behind these inhumane crime that constitute the major part of human rights violations in this country.
In this context, not only the observance of Human Rights Day but to effectively seek diplomatic and political solutions for this ongoing humanitarian crisis, Naam Tamilar Party is holding a webinar on the 12th of December, 2020 at 5 pm . This webinar is a union of eminent individuals across the world, who have spent most of their lives working for human rights and against human rights violations across various platforms.
