துயர் பகிர்வு: ஹதராஸ் விபத்து

உத்திரபிரதேச மாநிலம் ஹதராஸ் பகுதியில் இலட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் பங்கேற்ற மத வழிபாட்டு நிகழ்வில் ஏற்பட்ட கூட்ட நெரிசலில் சிக்கி 121 பேர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளதுடன், மேலும் பலர் படுகாயமடைந்துள்ள துயரச்செய்தியறிந்து அதிர்ச்சியும், மிகுந்த மனவேதனையும் அடைந்தேன்.

இறந்த உடல்களைச் சுமந்தபடி, கண்ணீர் பெருகும் விழிகளோடு கதறி துடிக்கும் குடும்ப உறவுகளின் துயரம் இதயத்தைக் கனக்கச்செய்கிறது.

ஒவ்வொருமுறையும் விபத்து நிகழ்ந்த பிறகு வேகவேகமாக செயல்படுவதை விட, விபத்து நிகழ சாத்தியமுள்ள அனைத்து இடங்களிலும் முன்கூட்டியே திட்டமிட்டு மக்களைக் காப்பதில் நாட்டை ஆளும் ஆட்சியாளர்கள் மிகுந்த அக்கறையுடன் செயல்பட வேண்டும். மக்கள் பெருமளவு கூடும் இடங்களில் முன்னெச்சரிக்கையுடன் போதிய பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளைச் செய்வதுடன், விழிப்புணர்வுடன் தொடர்ந்து கண்காணிக்க வேண்டியதும் மாநில அரசுகளின் தலையாயக் கடமையாகும்.

உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்திற்கு என்னுடைய ஆறுதலைத்தெரிவித்து, காயமடைந்தவர்கள் விரைந்து நலம்பெற விழைகிறேன்.

Hathras Stampede!

I am shocked and anguished to learn of the tragic news of the deaths of 134 people and the grievous injuries of several others in a stampede at a religious congregation attended by lakhs of people in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

The grief of family members carrying their loved ones as dead bodies is heartbreaking.

The government administrators should be more careful in planning in advance regarding the safety concerns of the people in all the places where accidents are likely to occur rather than acting quickly after every tragic accident. It is the prime duty of the State Governments to keep a vigil on the places where people gather in large numbers.

I convey my condolences to the families of the deceased and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
