அரசுக்குச் சொந்தமான நிலத்தை மீட்பதாகக்கூறி, காலங்காலமாக வாழ்ந்து வரும் மண்ணின் மக்களை மாற்று இடம்கூட வழங்காது வலுக்கட்டாயமாக அப்புறப்படுத்தும் அசாம் மாநிலத்தை ஆளும் பாஜக அரசின் செயல் அதிர்ச்சியளிக்கிறது. சனநாயகத்திற்கு எதிரான இத்தகைய எதேச்சதிகாரப்போக்கை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுபவர்கள் மீது அரச வன்முறையினை ஏவி, அப்பாவி மக்களை ஈவு இரக்கமின்றித் தாக்குவதும், சுட்டுக்கொல்வதுமான காட்சிகள் காண்போர் நெஞ்சை பதைபதைக்கச் செய்கின்றன. அதிலும் உச்சபட்சமாக, பழங்குடியினத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒருவரை காவல்துறையினர் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு கொடூரமாகத் தாக்கி சுட்டுக்கொன்று, இறந்த அவரது உடலினை காலால் மிதித்து, அதன்மீது ஏறிநின்று குதிக்கும் குரூரக்காட்சிகள் குருதியை உறையச் செய்கின்றன. இத்தனை கொடூரங்களுக்குக் பிறகும் அதற்காக வருத்தமோ, மன்னிப்போ, இரங்கலோ தெரிவிக்காது காவல்துறையினரின் காட்டுமிராண்டித்தனத்தை நியாயப்படுத்திப் பேசும் அசாம் முதல்வர் கிமந்தா பிஸ்வாவின் அதிகாரத்திமிர் வன்மையான கண்டனத்திற்குரியது.
மனிதத்தன்மை உடைய எவராலும் ஏற்க முடியாத இக்கோரச் சம்பவத்தைத் துளியும் மனச்சான்றின்றி, குற்றஉணர்வின்றி நியாயப்படுத்திப் பேசுவதன் மூலம் பாஜக எனும் கட்சி மானுடகுலத்திற்கு எதிரானது என்பதை மீண்டுமொரு முறை மெய்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மனிதத்தைக் கொன்று மதத்தை வளர்க்கத் துடிக்கும் பேராபத்துமிக்க பாஜகவின் அதிகார வர்க்கத்திற்கு எதிராகவும், அவர்களது அரசப்பயங்கரவாதச்செயல்பாடுகளுக்கு எதிராகவும் ஒருமித்துக் குரலெழுப்பி அநீதிக்கெதிரான நீதியை நிலைநாட்ட ஒவ்வொரு குடிமகனும் முன்வர வேண்டுமெனக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
The ruling BJP government in Assam has shocked the Indian Union by its move to reclaim the state-owned land by forcibly evicting people, who have been residing there for several years, without even providing alternative accommodation. The scenes of state violence against those who oppose such authoritarianism against democracy, mercilessly attacking and shooting innocent people, are heartbreaking. Moreover, the atrocities undergone by a tribal man, Moinul Haque, being surrounded by police brutally beaten to death, trampling on his dead body, and jumping over it freezes the blood. The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa’s authoritarianism has been strongly condemned by several human rights activists for justifying the police brutality, without any regret, apology, or condolence for the killing. The BJP has once again proved that it is anti-human by justifying this incident, which cannot be accepted by any human being, without a clear conscience and guilt. I urge every citizen to come forward to unite against the ruling class of the BJP and their state-sponsored tyrannical activities, which seek to kill humanity and promote religion, and to establish justice against injustice.
