இலங்கையில் தலைநகர் கொழும்புக்கு அருகே அம்பாந்தோட்டை துறைமுகத்தையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ள 15,000 ஏக்கர் நிலங்களையும் சீன அரசுக்கு 99 ஆண்டுகளுக்குக் குத்தகைக்கு விட்டிருக்கும் இலங்கை அரசின் செயல் பேரதிர்ச்சி தருகிறது. அம்பாந்தோட்டை துறைமுகம் அமைப்பதற்கு வாங்கிய கடன்களை அடைக்க இயலாதக் கையாலாகா இலங்கை அரசு, தனது நாட்டுக்குட்பட்டப்பகுதியை சீனாவிற்கு மொத்தமாய்த் தாரைவார்த்து, அந்நாட்டின் இறையாண்மைக்குட்பட்டப் பகுதியாகவும் அறிவித்துச் சட்டமியற்றியிருக்கிறது. அப்பகுதிகளில் இனி இலங்கை அரசின் எவ்வித சட்டத்திட்டங்களும், விதிகளும் செல்லாததாகி அது முழுக்க முழுக்க சீன நாட்டின் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குட்பட்டப் பகுதிகளுள் ஒன்றாக இருக்குமென்பது இந்தியாவின் எல்லையோரப் பாதுகாப்புக்குப் பெருங்கேட்டை விளைவிக்கக்கூடியப் பேராபத்தாகும். இது நட்பு நாடென நம்பி உறவு கொண்டாடிய இந்தியாவுக்கு வஞ்சக இலங்கை அரசு செய்திருக்கும் பச்சைத்துரோகமாகும். வடகிழக்கில் எல்லையை ஆக்கிரமித்து, அச்சுறுத்தி வரும் சீனா, தெற்கே கன்னியாகுமரியிலிருந்து 290 கி.மீ. தொலைவில் தன் நாட்டு இறையாண்மையுடன் இலங்கையில் நிலைகொள்ளுவது இந்தியாவின் பூகோள நலன்களுக்கு மிகப்பெரும் ஊறு விளைவிக்கும் கொடுந்தீங்காகும்.

தங்களது தந்தையர் நாடென நேசித்து நின்ற விடுதலைப்புலிகளையும், ஈழச்சொந்தங்களையும் அழித்தொழிக்க இலங்கைக்கு ஆயுதமும், பணமும் கொடுத்து, பன்னாட்டளவில் இலங்கைக்கு ஆதரவு வட்டத்தை உருவாக்கி ஆதரவளித்த இந்தியாவின் முதுகில் மீண்டும் குத்தி தாங்கள் யாரென வெளிக்காட்டியிருக்கிறது சிங்கள ஆளும் வர்க்கம். கடந்த காலங்களில் இந்தியாவுக்கெதிரான தருணங்களில் சீனாவின் பக்கமும், பாகிஸ்தானின் பக்கமும் நின்ற இலங்கை அரசு, தற்போது நேரடியாக சீனாவின் ஆதிக்கத்தை இலங்கையில் நிலைநிறுத்தி இந்தியாவைக் கண்காணிக்கவும், ஊடறுத்து உள்நுழையவும் பெரும் வாய்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது. தமிழீழ நாட்டையடைந்து தருவதாக வாக்குக் கொடுத்து, பல இலட்சம் கோடிகளைக் கொட்டித் தருவதாக உறுதியளித்து, திரிகோணமலையில் சில ஏக்கர் நிலத்தைக் குத்தகைக்குக் கேட்ட அமெரிக்காவையும், சீனாவையும் அந்நியரெனக் கூறி விரட்டியடித்து, இந்தியாவையும், அதன் பாதுகாப்பையும் தொலைநோக்கோடு சிந்தித்துச் செயல்திறன் வகுத்து முடிவெடுத்திட்ட எனதுயிர் அண்ணன் அன்புத்தலைவர் மேதகு வே.பிரபாகரன் அவர்களையும், விடுதலைப்புலிகளையும் பயங்கரவாதிகளெனக்கூறி, எதிர் நிலைப்பாடு எடுத்து சிங்களப்பேரினவாதிகளின் பக்கம் நின்ற இந்தியப்பேரரசு இப்போது கள்ளமௌனம் சாதிப்பதன் அரசியலை விளங்கிக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை.

தமிழீழ நாடு அமையப்பெற்றிருந்தால் தந்தையின் விரல் பிடித்து நடக்கும் செல்ல மகன் போல, இந்தியாவின் பாதுகாப்புப் பேரரணாக அது இருந்திருக்கும். வரலாற்றில் இல்லாத வகையில் சீனாவால் தெற்கே ஒரு அத்துமீறலை எதிர்கொள்ளும் கொடுஞ்சூழல் இந்தியாவுக்கு உருவாகியிருக்காது. யாவற்றையும் தடுத்துக் கெடுத்து சிங்களத் தரப்பைக் கொண்டாடிய இந்திய வல்லாதிக்கம், இன்றும் சீனாவின் பக்கம் நிற்கும் சிங்கள ஆட்சியாளர்களின் உடன்தான் நிற்கிறதா? இந்தியாவுக்கு மிக அருகே சீனா நிலையெடுக்கத் துணைநிற்கிற இலங்கையை இனியும் நட்பு நாடென வெட்கமின்றி இந்தியா சொந்தம் கொண்டாடத்தான் போகிறதா? என்ன பதிலுண்டு இந்திய ஆட்சியாளர்களிடம்?

இலங்கை ஒருநாளும் இந்தியாவின் பக்கம் நிற்காது; சிங்களர்கள் ஒருபோதும் இந்தியாவை நேசிக்க மாட்டார்கள் எனப் பல ஆண்டுகளாக எடுத்துரைத்தோம். அவையாவும் விழுந்ததா இந்திய ஆட்சியாளர்களின் செவிகளில்? ‘எனது இரத்தச்சொந்தங்கள் வாழும் தமிழகம் அங்கம் வகிக்கும் இந்தியாவுக்கெதிராக எனது சிந்தை ஒருபோதும் திரும்பாது’ எனத் தீர்மானமாய் முடிவெடுத்து நேதாஜியின் நாட்டை நேசக்கரம் கொண்டு நேசித்த சத்தியத்தலைவருக்கும், அவரது பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் இந்தியா செய்தது வரலாற்றுப்பெருந்துரோகம் அல்லவா? தலைவர் பிரபாகரனும், விடுதலைப்புலிகளும் களத்தில் நின்றிருந்தால் இலங்கையில் சீனா கால்பதித்திருக்குமா? எல்லையில் தனது படைகளை இறக்கச் சிந்தித்திருக்குமா? தமிழர்களின் பக்கம் நின்று ஈழ விடுதலையை ஆதரிக்காது, சிங்களர்களின் பக்கம் நின்று இனஅழிப்புக்குத் துணைபோனது எவ்வளவு பெரிய கொடுஞ்செயலென்று உரைக்கிறதா?? அது எத்தகைய படுபாதகத்தை இந்தியாவுக்கே ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது என்பது இப்போதாவது விளங்குகிறதா? இன்றைக்கு அம்பாந்தோட்டைப் பகுதியை இறையாண்மைமிக்கதாக சீனா கைப்பற்றி ஆளுகை செய்வது இந்தியாவின் தெற்குப்பகுதியான தமிழகத்திற்கும், கேரளத்திற்கும் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும் பேரபாயம் என்பதை எவராவது மறுக்கவியலுமா? தமிழகத்தின் எல்லைகளைக் காவல்துறையினரைக் கொண்டு பலப்படுத்த வேண்டிய அவசியம் எழுந்திருக்குமா?

ஏற்கனவே, கொழும்பில் சீனா சிட்டி எனும் பெயரில் தனது ஆதிக்கத்தை உருவாக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது சீனா. இந்து மகா சமுத்திரத்தில் சீனாவின் போர்க்கப்பல்கள் காட்சியளிக்கின்றன. இராமேசுவரம் அருகே நெடுந்தீவு, அனலைத்தீவு, நைனாத்தீவு போன்ற பகுதிகளில் மின்சார உற்பத்திக்கு சீன அரசு அனுமதிப் பெற்றிருக்கிறது. இவ்வாறு இலங்கையை மெல்ல மெல்ல விழுங்கி, சீனா தனது அதிகாரப்பரவலை வேர்ப்பரப்பி வருவதும், இந்திய எல்லைக்கருகே நிலையெடுப்பதும் இந்தியாவின் இறையாண்மைக்குப் பேராபத்தாய் முடியும். இந்திய ஒன்றியத்தின் பூகோள எல்லைப்பகுதிகளில் இவ்வளவு பெரிய சிக்கல் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும் இந்நிலையில்கூட பிரதமர் மோடி கனத்த மௌனம் சாதிப்பதும், சீனாவின் அத்துமீறலையும், ஆதிக்கத்தையும் கண்டிக்கத் தயங்குவதும் வெட்கக்கேடானது.

ஆகவே, இந்திய அரசானது இனியாவது விழிப்புற்று சீனாவின் ஆதிக்கத்தைக் கண்டிக்கவும், தடுக்கவும் முற்பட வேண்டுமெனவும், நட்பு நாடென இலங்கையுடன் உறவுகொண்டாடும் கயமைத்தனத்தைக் கைவிட்டு, அந்நாட்டுடனான அத்தனை உறவுகளையும் துண்டிக்க வேண்டுமெனவும் இந்திய ஒன்றிய அரசை நாம் தமிழர் கட்சி சார்பாக வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.

The Sri Lankan government’s move to lease out the Hambantota Port near Colombo and its 15,000 acres of land to the Chinese government for 99 years is shocking. Unable to repay the loans taken for constructing Hambantota port, the Sri Lankan government has legislated to hand over its territory to China and has lost its sheen of sovereignty. The fact that any of the laws and regulations of the Sri Lankan government are no longer valid in those areas and that it is one of the areas under the control of the whole of China is detrimental to India’s border security. This is a great betrayal by the treacherous Sri Lankan government to the Indian Union, where the latter believe the former is a friendly country to date. The growing presence of China in the northeast Sri Lankan border, which is 290 km south of Kanyakumari, and its positioning in Sri Lanka is a catastrophe that is extremely detrimental to Indian Union’s global interests.

The Sinhala rulers have revealed who they are by stabbing Indian Union in the back, who aided weapons and provided funds to Sri Lanka to destroy the LTTE and Eezham, which they loved as their fatherland, and have made a major part of the international community support Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan government, which has sided with China and Pakistan in the past against Indian Union, is a great opportunity for China to establish direct domination in Sri Lanka, to monitor and infiltrate Indian Union. My dear brother, His Excellency, Ve. Prabhakaran, a visionary leader, keeping Indian Union’s security c0ncerns in mind, has rejected the offers by the USA and China, who assured Thamizh Eezham state with a huge sum of money in exchange for leasing out a small portion of land in Thiruconamalai. But, the Indian Union which took a stand against Eezham Thamizhs, sided with chauvinistic Sri Lanka and had tagged LTTE as a terrorist organization, and our Thamizhs’ leader as extremist has been maintaining its silence to date.

If Thamizh Eezham had been established, it would have been India’s security arm, like a pet son holding his father’s finger. India would not have been in the situation of Chinese clout in the south as never before in history. Does Indian Union, which celebrated its relationship with Sri Lanka, still stand with the Sinhala rulers who side with China? Is India going to shamelessly celebrate Sri Lanka as an ally still supporting China to establish proximity to monitor Indian Union close enough? What would be the response of the Union government? Sri Lanka will never side with India; we have been saying for many years that Sinhalese will never consider Indian Union as an ally.

Would China have set foot in Sri Lanka, while his Excellency, Thamizhs’ Leader Ve. Prabhakaran and the LTTE were present? Does not support the Eezham statehood, supporting the side of the Sinhalese, the perpetrator of genocide, speaks of how great a tyranny? Is it now clear what harm it has done to Indian Union? Can anyone deny that China’s sovereign stake of Hambantota today is a disaster for the southern Indian states of Thamizh Nadu and Kerala? Will there be a need to strengthen the borders of Thamizh Nadu?

Already, China is establishing its dominance in Colombo, which is quite evident in “China City” and the Chinese warships on display in the Indian Ocean. The Chinese government has given permission for power generation in areas such as Neduntheevu, Analaitheevu, and Nainatheevu, which are close to Thamizh Nadu’s Rameswaram. Thus, through gradually dominating Sri Lanka, China’s diversification of power and its position on the Indian border could be detrimental to Indian sovereignty. It is a shame that Prime Minister Modi has remained silent and reluctant to condemn China’s encroachment and domination, even in the face of such a major crisis on the Indian border.

Therefore, on behalf of the Naam Thamizhar Katchi, I urge the Union Government to be vigilant and to seek to condemn and curb Chinese clout over Sri Lanka, to abandon its hostility to Sri Lanka as a friendly country, and to sever all ties with the Island nation.
