I congratulate honorable CM of #Rajasthan, @ashokgehlot51, for implementing ban on sale of fireworks for Diwali with the insight that the air pollution it causes would affect #COVID19 patients and also increase the incidence rate.

Also, It would only be appropriate to arrange for a permanent & alternate livelihood for the thousands of fireworks laborers who are dependent on fireworks industry and ensure that the alt occupation of theirs isn't as hazardous for their health & the environment as the present.
I would also put-forth my request to @CMOTamilNadu to implement similar measures whilst ensuring appropriate compensation for the #fireworks manufacturers of #Sivakasi
